Kai Wiechmann
Background
Having lived in London and New York, he is known to supply worldwide magazines and advertising agencies with his own trademark style of people-, portrait- and product photography. Clients like American Express, Kangol, Mercedes Benz and Wella entrust him with adding his photographic style to their campaigns. Kai Wiechmann feels as much at home during complex and large scale photo productions in Cape Town and L.A. as he does when shooting smaller, creative fashion editorials and personal work, where he explores new approaches and techniques.
Teaching
Kai Wiechmann is here to help you develop your photographic capabilities and artistic self.
On top of his advertising work, Kai has always regarded an ongoing learning process as the lifeline to creative growth. Consequently he also lectures in photography at SRH School of Design and Communication in Berlin and and University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Dortmund.
In 2024 he decided to take this teaching further under THE VISUAL LOFT in Berlin, to share his love for photography with evolving creative professionals and enthusiasts.
