Photography is language. And this is the team speaking! We portray ourselves or create our own unforgettable personal moments. We communicate our shared mission statement or motto with a camera or smartphone. This is not just a course, this is an energetic experience under the guidance of our people photographer Kai Wiechmann.
For larger groups, we have a network of photo studios or architecturally interesting locations. Of course, the corresponding formats can also be used in hotels and external business or conference rooms.
Indoor or outdoor
We portray ourselves and each other. We capture a vibe, visualize it and communicate it through the camera. We tame a wild team! And in doing so, we discover a common language.
We may even playfully shoot proper portraits for our own corporate communications!
Our day
We start with a relaxed 'meet 'n greet', delicious catering and a theoretical introduction to shooting techniques and composition. We quickly brainstorm and agree on a visual direction and a common goal. Once arrived in the 'creative zone', we seamlessly move on to what defines good people photography: communication. We engage with each other and let go.
Indoor:
In the studio, we familiarize ourselves with camera and equipment. We snapshoot, switch sides, experiment, formulate our point of view and develop a common visual signature.
Outdoor: Venturing out in small groups, Berlin becomes the canvas for our portraits. We form teams, each with a camera and some mobile equipment, while the tutor and his assistants provide support. This format also works well with your own smartphones.
This event is peppered with practical tricks and hacks for better portraits of family, friends and groups in order to give participants useful added value to take home.
We then discuss results and celebrate the final selection of the best images in a presentation. This can also happen in form of an award. A little competition won't hurt, right?
Participants receive a booklet, summarizing the most important photographic insights of the day.
Indoor and Outdoor
The definitive all-round smartphone course! A perfect kickoff-format for congresses with groups who want to experience and photograph Berlin as part of a larger event schedule.
Need perfect shots of your happening? So how a bout a kickoff event module that gives the captured experiences of your guests the professional touch?
Potentially, you'll create the best ever event documentary!
Our day
We start with a relaxed 'meet 'n greet' and some delicious catering. Followed by an entertaining presentation about 'the best camera you always carry along' and some theory to help anyone turning it into a fully-fledged photographic tool.
We learn everything we need to know about compositional rules and how to handle existing light. We also learn a few photographic tricks and hacks and deal with the specific functionality of our smartphone cameras.
We now move seamlessly into practical training and apply what we have just learned in small groups, supported by the tutor and his assistants.
Depending on weather or mood, this part can happen out- or indoor: We portray each other or capture city vibes. We train our visual perception, concentrate on architecture or storytelling; exactly as we intend to express ourselves photographically. This can happen as a compact studio event or in form of an urban safari.
This event is peppered with practical tricks and hacks for better pictures in general holiday-, pastime- or everyday situations in order to provide individual participants with added value to take home.
Finally we meet back at the studio or the event location and reflect on the results. We also offer to present and moderate the best images from the corresponding program, possibly as a competition, in a second, final event.
Learning is fun! Especially as a team and in a community of creative minds. So let's make this day a fun and extraordinary one! This is an event that will remain in our memories.
We learn as a team, but also adapt to your individual wishes. We customize event contents to a wide range of team sizes to ensure that we learn from each other's challenges as well as our own.
Our events are practical and hands-on and the educational parts are delivered in comprehensible packages that built upon one another.
